'Heyball's inclusion in to the Olympics' Expands Its International Footprint Again: Mr. Qiao of JOY Appears at the 46th E0C Seminar and Olympic Solidarity Forum 🎱🌍🏅
From October 8 to 11, 2026, the 46th EOC Seminar and Olympic Solidarity Forum was held in Split, Croatia
. Mr. Qiao (Qiao Yuanxu), founder and chairman of JOY Billiards Group, was invited to attend. Together with representatives of European National Olympic Committees and senior figures in the Olympic Movement, he gathered on the shores of the Adriatic Sea
to exchange and discuss the preparation and staging of major events such as the 2027 European Youth Olympic Festival, the 2027 Istanbul European Games, and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
At this critical stage in Heyball's bid to be included as a new sport at the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games
, this invitation to attend the event is not only international Olympic recognition of and attention to the years of effort behind the "Heyball's inclusion in to the Olympics," but also marks Heyball's transition from "global popularization" to a new stage of "integration into the Olympic system"
.
The 46th EOC Seminar and Olympic Solidarity Forum is one of the most important collective meetings of the European Olympic Movement each year. During this year's meeting, the President of the Croatian Olympic Committee, the President of the European Olympic Committees and IOC Executive Board member, and the State Secretary of the Croatian Ministry of Tourism and Sport delivered speeches successively
, and the EOC Secretary General presented a work report. Representatives of National Olympic Committees from across Europe conducted full exchanges on the preparation progress of the 2027 Winter and Summer European Youth Olympic Festivals, the 4th European Games in Istanbul in 2027, and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. They also voted on site to select the winner of the 11th Winter Piotr Nurowski Best European Young Athlete Award
, and that evening held an award banquet at Diocletian's Palace
.
Being invited to attend this platform as a promoter of Heyball is itself international Olympic recognition of and attention to this sport originating in China and its efforts toward Olympic inclusion
. This is also another important appearance at the level of international sports governance for the "Heyball's inclusion in to the Olympics," following the sport's entry into a number of major international multi-sport events.
After ten years of overseas promotion, Heyball has been popularized in 96 countries and regions
, exceeding the IOC's hard access threshold of "75 countries." It also stood out from 35 applicant sports and, together with climbing
, surfing
, and skateboarding
, entered the final "four choose two" contest for new sports at the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.
In this decisive sprint window, European National Olympic Committees wield significant influence in international Olympic affairs
. This trip to Split is precisely an important opportunity to present the charm, promotion results, and Olympic inclusion determination of Heyball in a concentrated way to the European Olympic family, and it helps more National Olympic Committees understand, recognize, and support this original sport.
Mr. Qiao participated in the relevant agenda throughout, examining Heyball's competition system and organizational operations against Olympic standards, and making advance preparations for how the sport will be presented on the Olympic stage after "Olympic inclusion"
. For many years, JOY has used the Heyball Masters as a fulcrum to push Heyball from the streets of China to the world. The sport has successively entered top international multi-sport events such as the World Billiards Championship, the 2025 Chengdu World Games, the Pan American Games, and the 2030 Qatar Asian Games, and has deepened strategic cooperation with international organizations such as the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) and the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC)
. Just this month, Mr. Qiao also attended the 2026 World Sports Congress in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he held in-depth exchanges with IOC President and other senior Olympic figures on issues such as the path to Olympic inclusion, event standardization, and youth development.
From Lausanne to Split, from the IOC headquarters to the annual grand gathering of the European Olympic Committees, Heyball is advancing step by step into the core circles of the Olympic family
. "Everyone can be a master"-this sport that allows ordinary people to stand on the world stage is injecting new vitality into the Olympic Movement in its own way
.
Facing Brisbane 2032, the "Heyball's inclusion in to the Olympics" is a long run and even more a relay
. JOY Billiards Group will continue to uphold its original aspiration, act with practical dedication, and integrate into the international Olympic system with a more open attitude, so that Heyball can stand on the Olympic stage as soon as possible, fill the gap of an original sports event IP in the Olympic hall, and let the world see the unique charm of this sport
!
